Children of all ages are invited to come to the library for a story, a song or game, and a craft. While the activities are geared toward the younger ones, older children are encouraged to come and listen to the story, sing, play and create with us, too.
Those in need are welcome to drop by the local senior center to receive food from the local food bank. No questions asked, just come get some food for your family.
The Turon Community Library Board will be hosting a Super Bowl Pre-Party for all elementary kids on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Turon Community Center, from 2 pm to 4 pm. (Everyone will be home in time to watch the kickoff at 4:30.) There will be FOOD, games, FOOD, sports stories & trivia, AND FOOD! Parents are always welcome, and if you need a ride to or from the Community Center, just let the library know and a ride can be arranged!
Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served. Come meet and greet your community.
Students in grades K-12 are invited to come create with us at the library. Activities will be targeted toward upper elementary, but are easily adaptable to all age levels. We will be listening to a story, creating art through various medium, enjoying a small snack.
