An Adult Book Club

An adult book club (18+). We will read mysteries, then gather to discuss, eat cookies, and craft.

After the first meeting, we have a few rules.

First, we are an adult book club. The books will have adult themes and content and will not be filtered for language or graphic content. While you do not have to read any book you are uncomfortable with and are certainly allowed to skip parts, please just be aware.

Second, we are a social club, not an academic club. We are reading for enjoyment, not to provide a literary analysis. We will be discussing things we loved or hated. Which characters we identified with. What curve balls the author threw us. Things like that. Again, we will go where the conversation takes us, but no one is going to ask for a dissertation. At least, you don’t have to provide one if someone does.

Lastly, we will meet monthly on the first Saturday of each month. For November, we are reading Verity by Colleen Hoover.
