At the November 1st board meeting, it was unanimously decided to bring our library into the 21st century by going fully automated. Efforts will begin in January of 2023, utilizing an automation grant provided by the South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS). Continue reading →Thanks to everyone who contributed! On Halloween, Turon Community Library hosted a trunk or treat and open house. We passed out candy, played games, and dispensed prizes to approximately thirty area children, with a total of 78 visitors coming through the library that night! Thank you to everyone who allowed us to be a part of your Halloween festivities! What an honor and a joy to celebrate with you. We lined cars up on the east side of the building, hoping that would give trick-or-treaters a safer location from which to visit each vehicle.
